Responsible & Safe Medication Management
Training of Trainers Programme (C)
This 8-day training of trainers programme will run in Dublin during March, April and May 2012. To download an application form and person specficiation please click here. Places are limited on this programme so early booking is advisable. The dates for the programme as are follows: 27th/28th/29th March; 11th/12th April; 24th/25th/26th April.
Trainers who complete this programme will be equipped with a data key containing a customised 2-day training programme on Responsible & Safe Medication Management for non-nursing staff. Trainers will be equipped with workbook, handout, clinical assessment frameworks, examinations, marking schedules etc. in order to facilitate this highly comprehensive two-day progrmame within their service. Support with Accreditation and Audit
Over the past year we have supported many services nationally with regard to preparing for HIQA inspections and other accreditation processes. We provide a total auditing/accreditation package including Gap Analyses, support with your Quality Group and Quality Meetings, Audit Schedule, Documentation, Fit Person Preparation, Training for Auditors and external proofing of Action Plans. We engaged Joe Wolfe & Associates to assist us in preparing for HIQA inspections of our Children's Services. While nobody could say for definite how these will be approached in the area of intellectual disability, we found our auditor/trainer from Joe Wolfe & Associates was extremely efficient and professional and had the skills to influence with integrity while outlining our challenges as an organisation.
